Reclaimed Flags & Paving

Wilsons Yard is without doubt Irelands largest supplier of reclaimed Yorkstone paving flags.

Salvaged Yorkstone is a very hard-wearing material and has been used for flooring for over 1000 years. A beautiful example of this can be seen today in Lincoln Cathedral England.

Reclaimed Yorkstone paving is often described as crème de la crème of Paving.

The beauty of these old paving flags are its marks and imperfections which have come from decades of wear and tear.

During the industrial revolution it was extensively for the floors of the vast Cotton and Linen Mills and associated workers cottages.

Today reclaimed Yorkstone paving is very much sought after as a premium paving option. Its warm tones and patina enhance any garden area pathway, patio area or other hard landscaped areas.

Reclaimed Welsh pennant is a very hardwearing stone from the granite family. Old Welsh pennant paving is most found in the Welsh Chapels, that sprang up during 18th and 19th centuries to service the mining families of the Welsh Valleys.

Welsh Pennant paving slabs are extremely rare and are subject to availability.

We hope you enjoy browsing our selection of reclaimed paving slabs.
